Certificates of Confirmation of Qualification and/or Current Professional Status

Pharmacists who wish to apply for registration to practise in another country or for restoration to a competent authority, must apply to the PSI to have a certificate of current professional status issued.  The PSI will send the certificate of current professional status on the pharmacist’s behalf to the relevant registration authority.  For information purposes, the pharmacist will also be provided with a copy of the certificate of current professional status when issued.  

If you wish to apply to have a certificate of current professional status issued your behalf, please complete the application form and return to the Registration Unit of the PSI with the appropriate fee.  Please note that certificates issued to competent authorities outside of the EU/EEA must be accompanied by 2 signed and dated photographs of the applicant.

Certificates are issued in a timely manner and will generally be issued within a month of receipt of the request by the PSI.
