Minister for Health and PSI mark introduction of flu vaccinations in pharmacies

Pictured in Dublin marking the official commencement of the administration of the flu vaccine by pharmacists this week was Paul Fahey, President of the Pharmacy Regulator, the PSI, Dr James Reilly, Minister for Health and Dr Ambrose McLoughlin, CEO of the PSI. The regulator has said the provision of the seasonal influenza vaccination in pharmacies is a great stride forward for both primary care and pharmacists. The Pharmacy Ireland 2020 Report by the PSI has advocated for wider services to be provided by pharmacists.
