PRESIDENT OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL SOCIETY OF IRELAND FOR 2012/2013

The Council of the PSI (Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland), the Pharmacy Regulator, has appointed Paul Fahey and Eoghan Hanly to continue for a further year as President and Vice-President of the regulatory body.
Paul Fahey became President in 2011 succeeding Ms Noeleen Harvey who also served as President for two years. Paul Fahey is a Community Pharmacist from Tullamore, Co Offaly. He holds a B.Sc. (Pharm) Hons and a Post Graduate Diploma (Community Pharmacy) from Queens University, Belfast. He is also currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Health Informatics in Trinity College Dublin. He is owner of Fahey’s Pharmacy, Patrick Street, Tullamore and also works as a freelance IT Consultant.
Eoghan Hanly graduated from Robert Gordon University Aberdeen in 1995 with a degree in Pharmacy. Since 1996 he has practised as a pharmacist in his family’s pharmacy in Loughrea, Co Galway, which was established by his grandfather, P.J. Killian in 1940.
