Expressions of interest sought for the PSI’s Disciplinary Committees

March 30, 2021

As part of our role to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of patients and the public, the PSI hears complaints received under the Pharmacy Act 2007, about pharmacists and pharmacies, through its three statutory Disciplinary Committees.

If you are a registered pharmacist who is either a sole trader, director, or shareholder in a corporate body, which carries on a registered retail pharmacy business, are interested in public service and providing patient benefit through the work of these Committees and meet the competencies defined, you are eligible to apply for appointment to the panel.

Please read this information booklet and return a completed application form by email to eanna.olochlainn@psi.ie no later than 5pm on Friday, 23 April 2021.

Successful applicants will be appointed to the panel from which members will be drawn to sit on the PSI’s three statutory Disciplinary Committees. The panel will be in place until 31 December 2023.

Please contact us if you have questions about this process or on the role and work of the PSI’s Disciplinary Committees.
