Continued Registration for Retail Pharmacy Businesses

Pharmacy owners must apply on an annual basis for continued registration of their pharmacy at least 30 days before the expiry date of the current certificate. For example, if the current certificate expires 31 December, then an application for continued registration should be made before 30 November, to avoid incurring an additional late fee.

A continued registration notice and an application form are automatically sent by the PSI at least 60 days before your pharmacy certificate is due to expire. A completed application, online or by post, should be made to the PSI by the appropriate date.

A process of cancellation of registration and removal from the Register of Retail Pharmacy Businesses will commence for registrants who have failed to make the necessary application for continued registration by the date of expiry of the current certificate of registration.
